Alan joined the firm in 2009 and is Head of our Corporate Recovery Group, specialising in advising insolvency practitioners, companies and lenders in all aspects of corporate insolvency and restructuring. He has advised the leading insolvency practitioners in Scotland for many years on liquidations, receiverships, administrations and CVAs.

He has significant transactional experience in the structuring of pre-pack transactions in the retail sector.

Alan is also a leading advisor to asset-based lenders in Scotland in connection with their documentation and transactional requirements.
