David is Head of MacRoberts Commercial Dispute Resolution Group and a partner in the Construction Group.

He specialises in the resolution of complex and high value disputes by means of negotiation, mediation, adjudication, arbitration and litigation at all levels including responsibility for the conduct of cases before the Court of Session and the House of Lords.

He has particular expertise in construction, contract, property, corporate and professional negligence disputes. He is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Construction Law and is a member of the Scottish branch of the Property Litigation Association, the Society of Construction Law and the Adjudication Society.

David was the only solicitor to feature in the Scottish list of leading individuals in Chambers and Partners 2007 for both dispute resolution and construction law.

David also has considerable experience in assisting with the court aspects of corporate transactions, for example, capital reductions.
