Robert has worked within our Corporate Group since 1996, specialising in advising parties involved in corporate transactions, as well as advising on general corporate legal matters.

He has led MacRoberts teams in advising on many of Scotland’s highest-profile deals, including numerous acquisitions and disposals, management buy-outs/buy-ins, equity investments and joint ventures. These deals have covered a wide-range of sectors and industries and include public and private transactions.

Transactions include: sale of A McLelland & Son Ltd (makers of Seriously Strong Cheddar) to Groupe Lactalis of France; investment in Howco Group plc by Sumitomo of Japan and affiliates; acting for BCW Group plc on MBOs of two of its divisions; various acquisitions for Portman Travel Group; sale of Wrap Film Holdings by Benedetti International plc.
