Laurence is a Partner in the Real Estate Group in Glasgow, he has broad experience in all aspects of commercial property law.
He has acquired a particular reputation and expertise in retail, residential and commercial development, and the various specialisms that brings together - site assembly, construction, joint ventures, development agreements, project finance, leasing and investment sales. Laurence has run major retail and commercial developments throughout Scotland and his clients include major PLCs, the development arms of international construction groups, industrial clients and private investors.
In recent years Laurence's expertise has moved with his client base into syndicate funded Enterprise Zone developments in Scotland and England and major regeneration projects.
A former external examiner in conveyancing at Strathclyde University, Laurence has lectured on the subject to The Law Society of Scotland as part of its CPD programme, and to other bodies.
