David is a Partner in MacRoberts Commercial Dispute Resolution and Construction Groups.

He specialises in the resolution of complex and high value disputes by means of negotiation, mediation, adjudication, arbitration and litigation. He has been involved in well over 100 adjudications.

He has particular expertise in contract, construction, energy, property and professional negligence disputes. He is accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Construction Law and is a member of the Scottish branch of the Property Litigation Association, the Society of Construction Law and the Adjudication Society.

In recent years, he has been regularly involved in the resolution of many multi-million pound disputes arising from some of Scotland's largest PFI/PPP projects and has been heavily involved in disputes arising during the Edinburgh trams project.
